Notes for your next cup
Personal Tea Selection Help
Tell us one tea you enjoy, one flavour you avoid and how you brew. Those small details are a useful beginning for narrowing a large tea range.
A short brief is enough
- Flavours you like: floral, roasted, malty, fresh, earthy or another description of your own.
- A tea you have tried and what you liked or disliked about it.
- Your brewing vessel and its approximate size.
- The format, budget and destination you are considering.
- Any ingredient, pack size or teaware detail you need confirmed.
You do not need to know the technical tea name. “I like rose fragrance but want a fuller cup” tells us something useful.

Compare a manageable pair
Try rose black tea against rose white tea for a change of base, or compare a fragrant Phoenix oolong with a Wuyi rock tea. The point is to isolate a difference you can follow.
For a first purchase, one clearly described pack can be more useful than several large boxes. The tea finder gives starting directions, while brewing notes help you avoid rejecting a tea because the first recipe was too strong.

Culture can be part of the brief
If you want a Five Elements or zodiac-themed gift, tell us the theme alongside the recipient’s preferences. Birth details are not required for a product enquiry.
Our help concerns products and preparation. We do not diagnose a constitution, prescribe tea for a medical condition or provide a professional birth-chart reading through this selection route.
