Tea & Order Help
Questions, answered
Find quick answers about ordering from The Tea Pure, international shipping, returns, payment, Chinese tea, storage and more. For questions about a specific order, our support team can review the details with you.

Shipping & Delivery
Order preparation, international delivery, customs and tracking.
Where does The Tea Pure ship?
We ship to many international destinations. Available shipping methods depend on the destination, parcel and carrier services available for your order. The shipping options currently available to your address are normally shown during checkout.
If checkout does not accept your address, contact us before ordering and we can check whether another shipping arrangement may be available.
How long does delivery take?
Most orders are prepared for dispatch within up to 7 business days after payment confirmation. Transit time begins after the parcel has been handed to the carrier and varies by destination and shipping service.
Customs processing, carrier congestion, weather, public holidays and local delivery conditions can also affect the final arrival date.
Will I need to pay customs duties, import taxes or VAT?
International orders may be subject to duties, import taxes, VAT or other charges depending on the destination and shipping arrangement.
If applicable charges are collected through our checkout, they will be shown before payment. Where they are not collected at checkout, customs authorities, postal operators or the carrier may request payment during import or delivery.
How do I track my order?
When tracking is available for the selected shipping service, tracking information is normally provided after your order has been dispatched.
Tracking scans can temporarily pause while an international parcel moves between carriers, countries or customs facilities. If the shipment is significantly beyond its expected delivery window, contact us with your order number.
Can I change my shipping address after placing an order?
Contact us as soon as possible with your order number and the corrected address. We may be able to update an order that is still being prepared, but changes cannot be guaranteed after a parcel has entered dispatch or been handed to the carrier.
Can I send orders to more than one address?
Our standard checkout normally applies one shipping address to each order. If you need tea sent to multiple recipients, placing a separate order for each address is usually the simplest option.
For larger gifting projects or multiple-address business orders, contact us before ordering so that we can review possible arrangements.
How is my tea packaged for shipping?
Tea is packed in protective packaging appropriate to the product and international transportation. Loose leaf tea is generally sealed to help protect it from moisture, unwanted odors and handling during transit.
Compressed tea and fragile teaware may receive additional protective packing depending on the item and shipping method.

Returns & After-Sales Support
What to do when an order does not arrive as expected.
Can I return tea if I change my mind?
Because tea is a consumable product, opened tea is generally not eligible for return or exchange solely because the flavor or aroma differs from personal preference.
If the tea remains unopened, contact us before opening it. Depending on the product condition and circumstances, we can review whether any options may be available.
What if my order arrives damaged, incorrect or incomplete?
Keep the item and original packaging and contact us as soon as reasonably possible, preferably within 15 days of delivery.
Please include your order number and clear photos where relevant. After reviewing the information, an appropriate resolution may include replacement, full or partial refund, store credit or another solution depending on the circumstances.
Do I need to return a damaged item to China?
Please do not send an international return before receiving instructions from us.
In many situations photos and order information may be sufficient for an initial review, while some cases can require additional verification or different handling.
What if I notice a possible quality problem with my tea?
Stop using the tea and keep the remaining product, packaging and identifying information. Contact us with your order number, a description of the concern and clear photos if the issue can be seen visually.
We may request additional information so that the situation can be reviewed appropriately.

Ordering & Payment
Checkout, currencies, payment options, gifts and business orders.
Which payment methods do you accept?
Payment methods available to you are displayed during checkout and can vary according to your location, checkout currency and payment-provider eligibility.
Options may include major credit or debit cards, PayPal and eligible local payment methods. Bank transfer may also be available for certain larger, wholesale or specially arranged orders.
Can I pay in my local currency?
Local currency display and payment are available in supported markets. Always review the final currency and order total shown during checkout before completing payment.
If your payment account uses another currency, your bank or payment provider may apply its own exchange rate or transaction fees.
Can I send a tea order as a gift?
Yes. Enter the recipient's delivery address during checkout.
If you would like to request a short gift message or another small arrangement, contact us after ordering and we will confirm what can reasonably be prepared for that order.
Do you offer gift wrapping?
Packaging varies by product, and selected teas or gift sets may already be presented in packaging suitable for gifting.
If you need a particular presentation or are preparing a larger gift order, contact us before ordering so that we can confirm available options.
Do you offer wholesale or private-label tea?
Yes. We work with retailers, tea businesses, hospitality buyers, corporate gifting projects and customers interested in private label or bulk Chinese tea.
Minimum quantities, samples, packaging and pricing depend on the project rather than following one fixed programme.

Our Chinese Tea
Origins, ingredients, storage, aging, quality and caffeine.
Where does your tea come from?
Our range focuses on established Chinese tea-producing regions, including areas in Yunnan, Fujian, Guangdong, Guangxi and other provinces associated with traditional tea production.
Origin and producer information varies by tea. The individual product page is the best place to check the source, tea type, harvest or production information available for a specific product.
Do your teas contain flavourings or other ingredients?
Ingredients vary by product. Many teas in our range are single-ingredient tea leaves, while scented, floral or blended teas may include flowers or other ingredients.
Always check the ingredient information on the specific product page or packaging, particularly if you have allergies or dietary requirements.
How do you approach tea quality and safety?
We evaluate teas for factors including origin, condition, appearance, aroma, cup character and suitability for sale, while working with supply partners to maintain relevant product and quality information.
If you require a specific laboratory report, specification, pesticide-residue document or compliance certificate for a particular product or destination, contact us before ordering so that we can confirm what documentation is available for that tea.
Does Chinese tea expire?
Different teas age differently. Fresh green teas and many highly aromatic teas are generally valued for freshness, while certain Pu-erh teas, dark teas and some white teas can develop over time when produced and stored appropriately.
Follow the date and storage information supplied with the specific product rather than assuming that every tea improves indefinitely with age.
How should I store my tea?
For most teas, protect them from moisture, direct light, excessive heat and strong odors. Loose tea should normally remain well sealed unless it is specifically intended for a different style of storage or aging.
Storage requirements vary by tea type. Some fresh teas can benefit from carefully controlled cool storage, while Pu-erh and other teas intended for aging require different conditions.
How do I separate a compressed Pu-erh cake or tea brick?
Use a tea pick or suitable tea knife carefully from the side of the compressed tea, following the natural layers rather than forcing the tool straight down through the centre.
Work slowly, keep the tool pointed away from your hands and loosen small intact sections rather than crushing the leaves into powder.
Are your teas vegan or gluten-free?
Many pure teas naturally contain only tea leaves, but the complete ingredient profile can differ for floral, blended or specially prepared products.
If vegan, gluten-free or allergen status is important for you, check the specific product information or contact us before ordering so that we can confirm the available information for that tea.
How much caffeine is in tea?
Caffeine content can vary significantly between teas. Cultivar, leaf material, growing conditions, processing, leaf quantity, water temperature and infusion time can all affect the amount of caffeine in the brewed cup.
Any caffeine level presented on a product page should therefore be treated as general guidance unless a specific laboratory measurement is stated.
