Pu-erh Tea
A deep cup, lifted by tangerine peel
Ripe Pu-erh and dried Xinhui tangerine peel, packed in pyramid bags. Woody tea notes meet a bright citrus aroma. Each tin contains 35 bags of 3g, ready to steep in a mug.
This is the mug-friendly way into our chenpi and ripe pu-erh pairing. The peel is an ingredient alongside the Yunnan tea, rather than a fresh orange garnish. A measured pyramid bag makes it easier to repeat a cup at a desk or in a familiar teapot without separating a portion from a larger cake.

Preparing your cup
Mug or teapot: 1 tea bag (3g) per 250ml; 100°C / 212°F; start with 2–3 minutes.
Give the leaves room to open and remove or strain the tea when it reaches your preferred strength. Re-steep while the flavour remains enjoyable. These are starting points: adjust the leaf amount, water and time to your taste.
Use the listed 3g bag as the measured portion. Lift it out when the cup reaches the strength you enjoy; leaving it in the mug continues the steep. Keep the unused bags dry and close the tin after taking one.

Explore Water teasIs chenpi the same as fresh orange flavouring?
Chenpi is dried tangerine peel. Here it is paired with ripe Pu-erh tea for a citrus-and-woody profile; the blend contains both tea leaf and peel.
Does this tea contain caffeine?
Yes. The regular tea leaves contain caffeine, including when blended with flowers or citrus. We do not infer a tested caffeine amount from the colour, age or name of the tea. Read the caffeine guide.
